FEBRUARY 21ST:It may seem that I am not making much progression with these sketches and that would be because I am not. Today I spent a lot of time trying to sort out my blog, staring at the screen for hours, finally turning on the PC then staring some more.
INK AND STICK
Ideally I should be doing a couple hours work a day to try and develop a direction. Ah well. Tomorrow.
The spattered looking one is done with ink and a stick taken from my ‘garden’ in the dark. It can be good to draw with something like a bendy stick to loosen up lines but this stick wasnt that bendy and it was too dark to find one that was.
The second one is conte and charcoal again. Both on A2 paper. See ya all tomorrow.
